WELCOME

I am pleased to welcome you to the website of the National Service Committee (NSC) for Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Wales—Catholic Renewal In the Spirit of Pentecost (CRISP).

All that we do, all that we support, all that we sponsor is under the authority of the Catholic Bishops of Wales.

Our guidelines describe the practicalities of how, with the guidance of the Holy Spirit, we carry out our role.

WHAT THE CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC RENEWAL IS

This is defined in the document here that was submitted to Pope John Paul II in 1979 by International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services (ICCRS).

FORMATION

The NSC should seek to promote Life in the Spirit Seminars, especially in those areas where parishes are being grouped to form one pastoral entity. This pastoral development is a golden opportunity to preach the need for recognising the charisms and offer the experience of prayer for their renewal.

For the guidance of both clergy and faithful, the NSC should have a policy of advertising events as "With the Sponsorship of Catholic Charismatic Renewal in Wales under the leadership of the Catholic Bishops of Wales".

LIBERTY and LEADERSHIP

It is the responsibility of the NSC to discern, on behalf of the Episcopal leadership in Wales (NOT that this is the NSC's exclusive right!) but in so far as they have a role recognised by the Bishops, what events or activities may be carried out in Wales in the name of Catholic Charismatic Renewal.

Mae popeth yr ydym yn ei wneud, popeth yr ydym yn ei gefnogi, a’r cyfan yr ydym yn ei noddi o dan awdurdod Esgobion Catholig Cymru.

Mae ein canllawiau yn disgrifio agweddau ymarferol o sut, gydag arweiniad yr Ysbryd Glân, rydym yn cynnal ein rôl.

YR ADNEWYDDIAD CARISMATAIDD CATHOLIG

Diffinir hyn yn y ddogfen a gyflwynwyd i'r Pab Ioan Paul II yn 1979 gan Gwasanaethau Adnewyddu  Carsimataidd Catholig  Rynglwadol (ICCRS).

ADDYSGU

Dylai'r NSC geisio hyrwyddo seminarau Bywyd yn yr Ysbryd, yn enwedig yn yr ardaloedd hynny lle mae plwyfi yn cael eu grwpio i ffurfio un endid bugeiliol. Mae'r datblygiad bugeiliol yna yn gyfle euraidd i bregethu’r angen am adnabod carisms a chynnig y profiad o weddïo am eu hadnewyddu.

Er mwyn cynnig arweiniad i offeiriaid a’r ffyddloniaid, dylai'r NSC gael polisi o hysbysebu digwyddiadau, gydag ymadrodd fel "Gyda Nawdd Adnewyddu Carismataidd Catholig yng Nghymru o dan arweinyddiaeth Esgobion Catholig Cymru".

RHYDDID ac ARWEINYDDIAETH

Cyfrifoldeb yr NSC, ar ran yr Esgobion yng Nghymru (NID hawl unigryw yr NSC yw hyn!) ond i'r graddau y mae ganddynt rôl a gydnabyddir gan yr Esgobion, yw dirnad pa ddigwyddiadau neu weithgareddau all gael eu cynnal yng Nghymru yn enw Adnewyddu Carismataidd Catholig.

PRAYER FOR WALES

O Almighty God, in Your infinite goodness, You sent Your only-begotten Son into this world to open once more the gates of Heaven, and to teach us to know, love, and serve You. Have mercy on Your people who dwell in Wales. Nourish in us the precious gift of faith, and unite us in the one true church, founded by Your divine Son. Give us the grace to be loyal witnesses together to Your truth, and to live faithful to Your love. Sanctify us by Your Son's sacraments, and bring us to worship You in spirit and in truth, so that we may come to have eternal happiness with You in the world to come.
